Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address and password (hashed). When you use the service, we store your watcher configurations, scan results, and search preferences.

2. How we use your data

We use your data solely to provide the Booking Patrol service: monitoring accommodation listings and sending email notifications based on your watcher settings.

3. Analytics

We use PostHog (EU-hosted) for product analytics and Sentry for error monitoring. Both are configured to minimize data collection. You can opt out of analytics via the cookie consent banner.

4. Data storage

Your data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security. Passwords are hashed by Supabase Auth. We do not sell or share your data with third parties.

5. Data retention

We automatically delete old scan results and accommodation data based on your subscription tier:

• Free plan: 30 days
• Plus plan: 90 days
• Business plan: 180 days

Administrative audit logs are retained for up to 365 days and then automatically purged. Automated cleanup runs daily.

6. Your rights (GDPR)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to:

• Access — Download a copy of all your data from the Account page.
• Erasure — Permanently delete your account and all data from the Account page. This is immediate and irreversible.
• Portability — Export your data in JSON format from the Account page.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication (Supabase session) and optional analytics cookies (PostHog). You can manage your cookie preferences via the consent banner.
